Your plant, in your care

Once plants arrive, customers are responsible for proper acclimation and ongoing maintenance. Use the care instructions supplied with your purchase and our Plant Care & Nursery Journal for guidance.

Start with stable conditions

Unpack carefully and inspect the plant. Keep it in a stable indoor environment for the first few days before repotting or changing its light conditions. Provide bright, indirect light, warm temperatures, and gradual changes in humidity.

Avoid direct sun, cold drafts, sudden environmental changes, overwatering, and frequent handling while the plant settles. Water according to the condition of the growing medium rather than a fixed schedule.

Allow time to adjust

A temporary pause in growth, slight drooping, or softer older leaves can occur during acclimation. Monitor the plant and make changes gradually. Read Caring for a New Anthurium: Getting Them Settled for more detailed guidance.

Report an arrival concern promptly

If your plant arrives severely damaged or dead, contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos of the plant, packaging, and shipping label. The acclimation period does not extend that reporting window. See our Returns & Refunds policy.
